A Newer Firm with Deep Roots
Sure Horizons Mediation provides confidential facilitative mediation for family, business, and workplace disputes across Minnesota. We meet clients online statewide and in person at our Roseville office, and we work in affiliation with Mediation Center, part of Minnesota's mediation community since 1981.
Our purpose is simple: bring carefully trained new mediators into the field and give people a calmer, more private path through conflict than a courtroom offers.

Experienced in Conflict, Long Before They Called It Mediation
Each of our mediators bring years of experience from the fields where conflict actually happens, in behavioral health, education, HR, and communications. Every mediator is trained through a certified Minnesota Rule 114 program and is coached personally by our founder.

Founded and led by Tobin Lay, JD, MBA
Tobin is an experienced mediator, trainer, and adjunct law professor who built Sure Horizons Mediation to bring well-trained new mediators into the field. He is Executive Director of Mediation Center, Inc., a recognized leader in mediation skills training that is affiliated with the Dispute Resolution Institute at Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul Minnesota. Tobin personally trains and coaches every mediator here but he does not ordinarily take part in sessions.
